Dr Ella Ponsi holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland. After graduating, she completed an internship at a busy QLD emergency hospital and has since obtained her Foundation Certificate in Emergency and Critical Care (FCertECC). Dr Ella thrives in the fast-paced environment of emergency medicine, with a strong focus not only on clinical excellence but also on guiding and supporting pet families through some of their most difficult moments.
Outside the hospital, Dr Ella finds joy in the clicker training her horses, and relishes time spent outdoors, camping with her fiancé, or curled up with a good book and her dogs. Her animal family includes Ralphie the Kelpie–Chihuahua cross, Leo the Border Collie, Clover the Paint–Arab–Stock Horse mare, and Beachy the retired Thoroughbred gelding.
