Specialist in Neurology
Dr Ed Pilkington grew up on a dairy farm in North Wales. He studied veterinary medicine at the University of Cambridge, graduating in 2018, before working in mixed animal practice in Norfolk for two years. After this, he completed a rotating internship at the Royal Veterinary College in London, before moving to the University of Liverpool to commence a residency in neurology & neurosurgery. In 2025, he completed all requirements to become a Specialist in Neurology and a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Neurology.
Dr Ed is interested in all areas of veterinary neurology including medical neurology, neurosurgery, and advanced imaging.
Ed is excited to relocate to the sunny shores of Australia with his partner to join the multidisciplinary SASH team. Outside of work, he loves spending time outdoors and plans to master the art of surfing.
