Dr. Donna graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2007 and has spent nearly 2 decades building her expertise in small animal surgery and clinical practice. Her dedication to providing exceptional care has led her to develop advanced skills in diagnosing and treating a wide range of conditions. With a passion for holistic and integrative veterinary medicine, Dr Donna has pursued extensive post-graduate training to offer innovative therapies that enhance the well-being of her patients.
Dr. Scott is certified in multiple specialized modalities, including canine and equine acupuncture through the Chi Institute in Florida, USA, where she also completed advanced acupuncture training. She is further certified in canine and equine chiropractic care through the Options for Animals College of Animal Chiropractic in Kansas, USA. Additionally, her qualifications include Chinese Herbal Medicine and canine rehabilitation through the Canine Rehabilitation Institute in Florida and Colorado. This diverse expertise allows Dr Donna to deliver comprehensive and tailored care to every patient she treats.
As a veterinarian and Certified Canine Rehabilitation Therapist (CCRT), Dr Donna can:
- Diagnose conditions and prescribe medication
- Design tailored exercise and rehabilitation plans
- Regenerative therapies including platelet-rich plasma (PRP), hyaluronic acid and stem cell therapies
- Treat patients using a range of modalities, including rehabilitation exercises, massage, herbal medicine, chiropractic manipulation, acupuncture, pain management, join mobilisation, Class IV therapeutic laser, therapeutic exercise and pharmaceutical medicine
