Dr Charlie Hawkes graduated from the University of Bristol in 2015 and spent some time working in general practice in the UK and Australia. He completed a rotating internship and an oncology internship at two Brisbane-based referral hospitals. After this, he returned to the UK to commence his oncology residency at the University of Edinburgh, and in 2025 he became a Diplomate in Oncology through the European College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ECVIM).
Dr Charlie is passionate about all areas of oncology, but has a particular interest in the treatment of lymphoma, which was also his area of research during his residency. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families, and helping to improve their quality of life.
During his spare time Charlie enjoys running, hiking, discovering new cuisines, and exploring different parts of the world.
