What is SASH?
SASH is the Small Animal Specialist Hospital, a specialist referral and 24/7 Emergency and critical care hospital.
Many of you will know SASH from the popular TV show “Bondi Vet” which was filmed at our original Sydney hospital during the early 2000’s. Since then we have expanded to three hospitals across New South Wales and South Australia, with another hospital opening in late 2022.
We are a multidisciplinary hospital with services including 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care, Anaesthesia, Cancer Centre (Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology and Surgical Oncology), Avian & Exotics department, Canine and Feline Blood Bank, Cardiology, Clinical Research, Dermatology, Diagnostic Imaging, Dialysis & Extracorporeal Therapies, Feline Radioiodine, Hospital Care, Hydrotherapy, Internal Medicine, Neurology & Neurosurgery, Nurse Education Program, Ophthalmology, Pathology, Physiotherapy, Pituitary Centre, Reproduction, Sports Medicine & Rehabilitation and Surgery
Our onsite facilities include a CT scanner, fluoroscopy, MRI, therapeutic laser and a purpose built wing housing our linear accelerator with stereotactic capability for radiation therapy; one of only 2 of its size in Australia.
