It’s still really raw to talk about my boy.
My first experience with Sash was about 4 years ago when I had to take my boy to see them, you see he had a really bad skin allergies with his skin he would lose his fur and bleed from scratching. They ran all these tests and came back with a regiment of tablets which worked so well. I went back to them for follow ups when needed and everyone was so friendly and really caring.
About 3 months ago I found a lump on my boys side and I took him straight to the vet and they sent me straight to Sash to have test done, 12 hours later the results where back. I’m sorry it’s not good news, Hannibal has cancer and only has around 6 month I’m sorry. I didn’t know what to say or what to do, was it a ‘dream’ I just what to wake up. We started treatment straight away but it didn’t give me any time with him.
On the 2/9/2023 I took my boy back to Sash Western Sydney because he was having trouble breathing on the 3/9 /2023 I had to put my baby boy my sweet baby boy to sleep for the very last time. Not only was it Father’s Day but also my daughters Birthday. Staff at Sash have been so helpful, caring and full of so much compassion not only did they help me and my family with losing my boy they helped me with his cremation so I could bring him home, home where he belongs.
When I picked his remains up the girls had taken paw prints, and given me some of his fur in a jar, and a few weeks later I received a beautiful candle with his name on it. The family and I are so so grateful for everything that was done for my boy Hannibal and the help you tried to give to him. The way staff explain everything they had to do to him help in so many ways, really they made me feel like I was the only client they had and all resources was for me.
Thank you so much to Sash for all you tried to do for or family I will always be grateful for all your help xx
