In late 2024, the North Coast Veterinary Specialist (NCVS) hospital and its team have joined the SASH network to become SASH Sunshine Coast.
SASH Sunshine Coast will continue to provide the excellent multidisciplinary specialist and 24/7 emergency care you have come to know in recent years, including state-of-the-art purpose-built facilities and the following services:
- 24/7 Emergency and Critical Care
- 5 days per week specialist Surgery including mobile services to Far North Queensland
- 5 days per week specialist Internal Medicine
- Physical therapy & Rehab
SASH Sunshine Coast is committed to building close partnerships with local veterinarians in general practice to provide collaborative care for the pets and families around the Sunshine Coast.
Through SASH network, SASH Sunshine Coast has access to support from:
- Specialist Diagnostic Imaging: the country’s largest team of radiologists to interpret CT studies in real-time, improving patient welfare and providing more timely treatment
- Specialist Anaesthesia: the country’s largest team of anaesthetists for higher-risk patients and tricky cases
- Specialist Oncology: dedicated cancer specialists to provide support to local surgical and medical specialists
- Neurology: the largest team of neurologists in the country for advice related to brain and spinal conditions
- Ophthalmology: support for eye-related emergencies
