Elvi came to SASH with ‘acute haemorrhagic diarrhoea’. She was in the SASH ICU for 16 days, we almost lost her several times.
If it wasn’t for the skill, expertise and care provided by the Emergency and Critical Care Specialists, Nurses and Admin teams, she wouldn’t still be with us today. One of the Client Services team members call her ‘the miracle dog’. She is our little miracle.
She has fully recovered and been able to return to work as a service dog. We are so grateful.
