Read some testimonials from our current Inpatient Care Nurse Team
“I firmly believe that the Inpatient care department and SASH replicate the foundations on why I became a veterinary nurse. I became a Vet Nurse because I admired that maybe one day I could be apart of witnessing and assisting an animal go from extremely close to death to going home with its tail wagging and an extremely appreciative owner. The rewarding part of being an Inpatient Care Nurse is I can do just that. Inpatient care covers the majority of our specialist departments, and we get to be apart of the treatment and overall care of the animals. I am continually learning and growing in departments of inpatient care including ophthalmology, Internal medicine, Emergency, and Intensive Care, Neurology, Surgery, Dermatology, Oncology, and radiology. This amount of continuing education and specialist fields require the best specialists and Veterinarians to be top of their area to teach such complex topics. SASH provides just that, specialists and veterinarians who are willing to teach and deliver the gold standard care needed to see these animals go home.”
“Being a part the IPC team at sash is a dynamic, varied and rewarding role. Working amongst a team of kind and dedicated nurses, we are tasked with supporting ill inpatients, recovering patients from surgery, assisting in procedures and more! As a new member to the SASH team, I love being an IPC nurse. Highly recommended!”
